And if a new initiative led by the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation (EDC) and the CleanTECH San Diego trade organization is successful, the region will soon be much more: a true hub for the renewable energy and cleantech industries, spurring innovation, collaboration and creating jobs in the cleantech space.

Bella Energy Trains Green Jobs Crews to Install Solar Systems

Boulder, CO 2009 – Bella Energy, a Boulder-based solar energy client, trained workers learning green construction skills as part of a Boulder County Green Jobs Pipeline Program. Together the crews installed a 10 kW solar system on an affordable housing unit in Louisville, Colorado. The Green Jobs Pipeline is dedicated to helping low-income Coloradoans in need of work attain the renewable energy and energy efficiency skills necessary to compete in the nation’s New Energy Economy.
